Day 01 · Arrival

Pickup from Chandigarh and the scenic ~230 km drive (~5 hrs) to Amritsar. Visit the radiant Golden Temple and pay respects at the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, then the electrifying evening flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah Border. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 02 · Amritsar Local
Amritsar Sightseeing
A peaceful morning darshan at the Golden Temple, then the silver-and-marble Durgiana Temple and the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum that tells the story of the Sikh empire. Round off with shopping at Hall Bazaar. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 03 · To the Mountains
Amritsar to Shimla
The scenic ~290 km drive (~6–7 hrs) climbs from the Punjab plains into the Himachal hills. Arrive in Shimla, the colonial Queen of Hills, and stroll the famous Mall Road and The Ridge as the lights come on.

Day 04 · Shimla & Kufri
Kufri Sightseeing
A full day of Shimla’s finest: the snow slopes of Kufri, sweeping Green Valley views, the hilltop Jakhoo Temple, the heritage Christ Church, lively Scandal Point and another easy evening on Mall Road.

Day 05 · Departure
Shimla — Chandigarh
A relaxed ~140 km descent (~4–5 hrs) to Chandigarh, India’s planned city. The surreal Rock Garden, the calm of Sukhna Lake and the fragrant Rose Garden, before your drop at Chandigarh airport or railway station.
